Cleverwood wishes you plenty of “New Ways of Using Media” for 2010
Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 | Cleverwood | No Comments
2009 is over and 2010 is starting with plenty of new projects for Cleverwood: Mobile seems to (finally) speed up in Belgium with great initatives in the pipeline, Social Media, Conversation Marketing, Brand Monitoring and Community Management are not just buzz words anymore, and new opportunities for Multi-online-channel campaigns are generated everyday.

We are looking forward to many opportunities to meet new and existing contacts during our Trends Sessions or Friday Afternoon Sessions (the next one, “Is Digital Signage a natural evolution of Outdoor Communication or a new media?” happens on Jan 15th, feel free to register) and probably during various passionating missions in 2010.
For the mobile addicts and curious, we’ll see probably each others at the various Mobile Monday‘s and maybe at the next one on Point of Sale Mobile innovations (SMS, QR code,…).
Another opportunity to meet will at the first DevCom Brussels on Jan 28th. We’ll have a booth there and are working on a set of 10 pragmatic demos and client-based case studies to present during 7-minutes sessions. So if you want to see our team in action, hope to see you there.
All the details and free registration on www.devcom.be
Enjoy 2010 ! we’ll do our best to make it Collaborative, Flexible and based on an intensive Knowledge Sharing. Those are the three pillars of our Dynamic Insourcing working model that we share with an increasing community in Belgium.
Stay connected…
Beta Group #13 at the Mirano
Friday, October 30th, 2009 | Cleverwood | No Comments
I attended last Wednesday the Beta Group #13 @ Mirano Brussels. It was great to meet an impressive number of internet entrepreneurs in a place that was a bit trendier than the usual ULB Campus. It was at the same time the opening of “Le café numérique” that will be held each Wednesday.
As usual, 5 start-ups presented their project:
Getyoo: See description below
Spezzle: Planning tool that helps you or your customers make Drupal site specifications that will require minimal custom coding. You can use the system to enhance the communication between end-user and developers and at the same time collect materials that can be reused in future projects.
WonderGraphs: Tool to easily create graphs.
Babelway: Babelway B2B integration Software-as-a-Service allows organizations to automate cross-company processes and enables the secure exchange of business documents.
Symbioz: Geolocation application in real time via Android mobile phone GPS. The data are stored on servers, which allow finding your path but also your speed and altitude.
Next to that, we also had the occasion to see a presentation of the Microsoft Surface through a real case study: The Belgian Beer Café. Check the video, it was fun to see a typical Belgian application running on the MS Surface.
Amongst the 5 presentation, I’ll remember, Getyoo who had a great success, mainly because the presentation was really well done.
Getyoo is a web platform that enables each user to collect and send social information whether public or private through a kind of USB key. It’s a similar concept to “poken”. For 27 €, one can purchase a “clickey” which is the name of the device and by simply clicking on it towards a sticker or another “clickey”, you get or send information. Although the presentation was brilliant, I’m not so sure that yet another device will not represent a barrier for massive adoption, I’d love this technology to be embedded in my mobile phone. For more details, see the video.

cleverwood Friday Session, March 20th 2009 Enterprise 2.0 : What is it?
Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 | Cleverwood | No Comments
Last week Laurent Kinet (co-founder and board member of cleverwood) and Roald Sieberath gave a Friday Afternoon Session about the enterprise 2.0: What is it?
Laurent Kinet explained that whether we like or not, enterprise 2.0 is going to happen in our organization.
Also, Enterprise 2.0 covers a tangible reality that goes beyond technology and tools: it answers some important challenges for companies, such as collaboration and sharing, knowledge management, mobility or work-life balance – and leverages the power of collective intelligence.
It was really interesting to discover the importance of the Generation Y, the 4C’s approach by Niall Cook and of course the “father” of the term “enterprise 2.0”, Andrew McAfee.
If you missed the session, don’t worry, you’ll find the slides they showed Friday Session March 20th 2009 – Enterprise 2.0 and some pictures.
